What nobody is telling you about these socks

I cannot understand why the manufacturer in the description nor any reviewer has yet to name the best feature of these socks – I saw one reviewer had mentioned the rubber seal on the bottom of the sock.. that’s all fine and good, but I imagine most other people are like me when using a slim sock such as this in that it is the back outside of the sock heel that is constantly in friction with the back inside of the shoe that is slipping off and bunching up under the heel – NOT on these babies. Timberland has put a silicone insert into the inside back of these socks that keeps them absolutely locked on your feet until you are ready to take them off. These stay out of sight letting your ankles be on display for the world to behold without going anywhere until you want them to. I cannot recommend this product strongly enough, I am extremely satisfied with both the quality and performance of this product!

They work, buy em, but your lady will make fun of you.

This is not something I was proud to buy. I usually don’t like preppy crap like this, but I needed something to help mitigate the odor that stems from wearing boat shoes with no socks. I read the reviews for several similar products and this sock was the only one where reviewers repeatly stated they did not slip off the foot. I too will reiterate that sentiment. No only do they stay my size 12 feet with no slippage or blisters, but they 100% work to help reduce the smell associated with boat shoes. They wont completely eradicate odors, but it’s drastically reduced.

Still can,t get used to going sockless and the low socks I’ve been wearing look silly. The low profile of these socks fit right to the edge of my Sperry Deck Shoes and the no slip feature of the heel works great. The sock has yet to fall down and bunch up under the heel. I bought the Beige color in case if any of the sock did show it would’nt stand out like the black or white socks do. Very Happy!

Thin but secured socks?? Sold!!

Socks are socks. Its so limited in terms of designing and material. I jumped on these pair of socks from Timberland 6 months ago and so far it is my favorite no-show socks. There is a rubber pad inside of the back ankle side which helps to prevent socks to taken out from my feet while i walk.(most no-show socks fall off very easily in the shoes) and some might find it annoying but the rubber Timberland logo on the bottom of the sock also makes the sock stay secure inside the shoes.

I love these socks. They were expensive compared to other brands that give you twice the amount of socks for the same price. But guess what? Those socks always come off at the heel If you find that annoying as I did, dont bother and get these. So simple, and yet of all boat shoe socks Ive bought, these are the first and only that consistently stay on my feet.

If only it was a tad shorter

This isn’t quite fair – I’m not a man using these in boat shoes. I have wide feet, size 10 or 10.5 E in women’s. Most women’s sock liners are a bit too tight.

Yes, you need these.

If you’re reading this you’re asking yourself “are these the right socks to fit my boat shoe wearing lifestyle?” the answer my friend is yes.

Anyhow I will enjoy these.

I’m not sure if it’s because my foot is wide or because these were to small…Anyhow I will enjoy these…Because they still fit just seem somewhat small Maybe no fault to them maybe just because I have a wider foot than normal …
